Privacy
Bestie is a training app. To plan your week it needs to know some things about your body, and some of those things are health data. This page says what we collect, what we do with it, and what we will never do with it.
What Bestie stores
- What you log. Cycle dates, energy check-ins, completed sessions, and — only if you turn the feature on — the dates and amounts of any medication doses you choose to record.
- What your wearable writes to Apple Health. Sleep, resting heart rate, heart-rate variability and workout records, read only after you grant permission, and only the categories we ask for.
- Your account. An email address, and nothing else you have not typed in yourself.
What we do with it
We use it to build your plan and to show you your own history. That is the whole list. No one at Bestie reads your log unless you attach it to a support message.
What we never do
- We do not sell your data. Not to anyone, at any price, in any form.
- We do not pass it to data brokers, ad networks, or analytics products that would take a copy of it.
- We do not share it with an employer, an insurer, or a family member.
- We do not use your dose log, or the fact that you keep one, to target advertising.
Advertising
If you reached this page from an ad, the advertising platform knows you clicked the ad. It does not receive anything you later log in the app. We do not send health events — including anything to do with medication — to advertising platforms, and any measurement we run is configured so that health-related activity is excluded from it.
Your controls
- See it. Everything Bestie holds about you is visible in the app.
- Export it. One tap, machine-readable, no request form.
- Delete it. Deleting your account removes your logs from our systems within 30 days, and from backups within 90.
- Withdraw a permission. Turning off dose tracking or revoking Apple Health access stops collection immediately and removes what was collected under it.
Where it lives
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored with a cloud provider in the United States. Access is limited to the two people who build Bestie, and is logged.
Children
Bestie is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
Changes, and how to reach us
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or who sees it, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect — not by quietly updating this page. Questions go to hello@bestie.app and reach a person.
